Our goal was to replace the failing fixtures, redesign the shower for comfort and durability, improve lighting throughout the suite, and update the flooring in both bathroom rooms and the walk-in closet. The homeowner needed a master bathroom that actually worked. With damaged plumbing, a leaking shower, and an outdated layout, they wanted a fresh start that emphasized reliability, comfort, and long-term quality.

Our Process
We began by removing every fixture, every floor surface, and all the deteriorated materials in both bathroom sections and the closet. With the space opened up, we addressed the underlying mechanical issues, rerouting plumbing and installing new subflooring where needed. From there, we were able to rebuild the entire master bathroom with a cleaner, more practical layout.

- Removing all fixtures, flooring, drywall, and damaged plumbing
- Capping and eliminating plumbing from the former tub area
- Rebuilding subflooring and moving water lines for the new shower layout
- Constructing a 4’ x 5’ tiled shower with a custom concrete-and-rebar curb
- Installing an Innovis Better Bench adjustable tile seat
- Setting a new shower floor in deck mud and waterproofing the full assembly
- Installing all tile with Bostik TruColor urethane grout
- Adding blocking for doors, accessories, and niche installation
- Installing a heavy glass frameless shower enclosure after measurement
- Patching, drywalling, priming, and painting walls and trim
- Running new electrical, including switches, outlets, and six flush-mount LEDs
- Installing LVT flooring in the shower room, vanity room, and walk-in closet
- Replacing the vanity, countertop, faucets, toilet, and bathroom accessories
With new materials, updated lighting, and a cohesive tile design using Florida Tile’s Tuscan Villa Arezzo Ivory, the entire space now feels brighter and more modern.
